Princess D's "New" desk

Today I decided to paint Princess D's desk.We bought this chalkboard paint awhile back and I was going to paint a section on the wall but never got around to it.Well to be honest with you I have moved the school room around 4 or 5 times already this year so it wouldn't have worked out anyways.It looks really good on her desk.She loves it and thats all that matters right?What do you think?

Whoooo Hooooo!!! Week 5

I am so proud of us!! We are on week 5 in our school and still truckin' along. The first year with V and J both home it was a big struggle.I think mostly just getting use to being with each other for so long in the day.Last year it was more of disciplining and also getting use to homeschooling with a newborn.(which was a first for me) This year I really have no excuse! =) I have put all my trust and faith in the Lord.I know through Him all things are possible.That has been what my prayers have mostly consisted of these days.God is so good!

First day of school

Well today is our first day of school.We are starting early this year partly because we tend to fall behind.Also I would like to be done by May so we can start our garden.This year I neglected it badly.
I would like to here from you.Do you ever fall behind?If so how do you handle it,what do you do to get back on track?
